Tree Identification: In this one hour program, available year round, students study parts of a tree. They use size, shape, color, odor, and texture to identify types of trees on the RNC grounds. In addition, they hike to the creek to examine the unique features of the cypress tree and learn about its historical importance to Kerrville.

Bug-A-Boo: One hour program available spring and fall. Students examine similarities and differences of various “bug” groups and the importance these bugs play in the environment.
