Education has always been the focal point of all activities at Riverside Nature Center. The Center is a certified Wildscape, hosting programs which focus attention on our native plants, birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

Our educational programs include:
Kindergarten, Grades 1-5, Scouting & Private Parties, Gardens, Habitat, Library

A CLOSER LOOK is a Discovery-Learning Program for classes of school children grades K through 8. These outdoor programs are held at the RNC in the Spring and Fall. They were developed by education specialists and are led by trained Nature Guides to introduce and educate young people in nature and ecology.
